The Economic Development & Opportunity Creation practice works with clients to bring large scale, sustainable improvements in economic opportunity and well-being to people in both developing and developed countries.

We focus our efforts by taking on projects that:

• empower change-ready governments to drive effective economic, infrastructural and educational development;

• enable public and private investores to design impactful investments addressing the economic growth and stability;

• serve civil society organizations working on behalf of the people towards their economic improvement;

• work with our private sector clients to determine where their activities can advance economic development; and

• attract innovative partners and build coalitions to advocate change.

We pursue these interests through work with clients, knowledge development initiatives, and convening efforts.

Global Health

The Global Public Health practice brings the firm’s deep expertise across the entire health care value chain together with our traditional functional expertise to help clients improve the health of populations, and reduce unnecessary death and debilitating disease around the world.

Our current work focuses on four themes:

• accelerating the introductions and uptake of new products and technologies;

• engaging the private sector in health care concerns;

• improving health systems in developing countries; and

• enhancing collaborations and partnerships across global health efforts.

We pursue these interests through work with clients, knowledge development initiatives, and convening efforts.

Telecommunication / IT

The IT / Telecommunication practice works on increasing the effectiveness of connecting the world through Internet, Voip and Rural telephony. Done by bringing the latest technology, strategic thinking, performance management, program design, and evaluation.

Our work focuses on:

• helping companies and governments to develop their strategies and organizations towards fast and reliable connections;

• working with corporations to create communication strategies that link to their overall business strategy;

• supporting existing infrastructure on issues; and

• developing knowledge for broader communication facilities to prepare future strategies and practices.
